Roger F. Hyam was born and raised in England. He gained expertise at an early age working with a family of decorative painters going back three generations. Having completed his education in art and engineering, Roger went on to pursue the principles of paint applications while focusing on interior artistry.

After moving to the United States in 1986, Roger continued to pursue his passion for painting and further developed his faux finishing skills. He founded a successful interior artistry business in the Midwest, where he met his wife and partner, Charla Hyam. Now a resident of the Seattle area, Roger appreciates the inspiration the Northwest brings to his artistry.
